El Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona se encuentra ubicado en  la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta en el Caribe de Colombia

Es uno de los parques naturales mas importantes de Colombia, ya que es un habitat de una gran cantidad de especies, ubicadas en diferentes pisos térmicos desde el nivel del mar hasta los 900 metros. El parque fue creado en 1964 y cuenta con 15.000 hectáreas terrestres y 4.500 marinas, El parque posee un alto valor biológico y arqueológico. Su temperatura esta entre los 25ºC y los 32ºC. Su Flora  terrestre tiene mas de 770 especies de plantas , la Orquídea, (flor nacional) se encuentra mucho en esta zona. Entre los sitios de interés esta el Museo Arqueológico de Chairama, la Playa del Muerto, Sector de Arrecifes, La piscina, el cause de rio de piedras, el Cabo San Juan de Guía, La playa boca de Saco, y por su puesto la Ciudad Perdida.
