CUÁNDO VIAJAR A COLOMBIA

Por su ubicación geográfica en la zona ecuatorial, Colombia no solo es la puerta de entrada a América del Sur, sino que sus temperaturas son constantes durante todo el año, esto sumado a la variedad de climas hace de Colombia un país para visitar durante cualquier época del año!  

Colombia goza de todos los pisos térmicos, por lo que tiene playas sobre sus costas Pacífica y Atlántica, desiertos, selvas, llanuras, montañas, paramos y nevados. Las fechas para viajar no dependen tanto del calendario sino de las zonas que se visiten. Por lo general, Colombia disfruta de un clima tropical ecuatorial, húmedo y con temperaturas altas. Aunque muchas de sus ciudades se ubican a una altura en los Andes de más de 1.500 metros de altura sobre el nivel del mar. Bogotá esta por encima de los 2.600 m.,  así que su clima es mas frio.

*CLIMA: En Colombia hay solo dos estaciones: la húmeda y la seca. La decisión de cuándo viajar a Colombia es mejor tomarla teniendo en cuenta que se quiere ver, aquí algunos datos que te ayudaran:

  – Plan de Playas:

Las playa del territorio colombiano están bendecidas con verano todo el año. Sin embargo tienen épocas mas calientes y mas húmedas y lluviosas.

  – Carnavales y Festivales:

En Colombia se celebran muchos carnavales folklóricos importantes, la mayoría se celebran entre enero y marzo. El mas famoso en Latinoamérica después del de Rio de Janeiro en Brasil es el Carnaval de Barranquilla (Febrero).  También se celebran muchas festividades culturales como el Hay Festival (enero) y el festival de Cine (marzo) ambos en Cartagena de Indias.

  – Parques Naturales:

Colombia es uno de los países más ricos en diversidad biológica en el mundo contando con 59 áreas naturales protegidas como el Parque Tayrona o el del Cocuy.  Estos parques cierran varias veces al año por proteccion ambiental,  asi que es mejor debe consultar antes. http://www.parquesnacionales.gov.co/portal/es/ecoturismo/

  – Avistamiento de ballenas

 (en la costa del Pacífico): Julio-octubre.

  – Caño Cristales(Parque de La Macarena):

Entre septiembre-noviembre se muestra su máximo esplendor.

  – Selva Amazónica:

El río amazonas se encuentra en su nivel más bajo entre agosto-octubre y en su máximo entre mayo-junio.

  – Navidades:

Durante esta época se celebran importantes festividades como la Noche de las Velitas o el famoso encendido del alumbrado de Medellín y la Feria de Cali.

  – Temporadas Altas Locales:

Otro factor a tener en cuenta son las temporadas de vacaciones locales en Colombia cuando el turismo interno es muy activo y te vas a encontrar con mucha mas gente los principales destinos turísticos y suele ser mas costoso.  Temporadas Altas son: de diciembre, enero, Semana Santa, junio,  julio y la semana de receso escolar a mediados de octubre.
